I’m a New York City and East Hampton based artist. I paint what I see—landscapes, seascapes, buildings, flowers, fruit, objects—anything. My style is straightforward, bold and simple. Sometimes a natural object on an incongruous background. I also enjoy painting from my imagination, particularly things that make me smile, like rubber ducks. The juxtaposition of what’s essentially a children’s bath time toy with the criminal justice system may be political/social commentary by a former prosecutor. When it comes to art, anything is possible….
I started painting regularly about ten years ago and have studied at the Art Barge in East Hampton, Long Island, NY and at the 92nd Street Y in New York City. My paintings are in private collections in New York City, East Hampton, Hudson, NY, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
